Our school families and faculty work together to coordinate activities, organize volunteers, and raise funds to help enrich the student experience at Sunrise Drive Elementary. All parents and guardians are automatically members – there is no fee.
Meet Your Teacher is In-Person this Year: School is back in session on Monday, August 9, 2021. To help families prepare, Meet Your Teacher will be held in-person on Friday, August 6, 2021:
- 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m: Students with Last Names A-L
- 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m: Students with Last Names M-Z

Mark Your Calendars for 2020-2021 FFO Meetings: FFO meetings will be held on Zoom until it is safe to meet in person. The first meeting is August 27, 2021 and check out our calendar for future meeting dates.
School Toolbox: Due to the various possibilities of what school could look like this fall, School Toolbox supplies will be shipped to your home this year. The online store is open and orders leave the warehouse within 10 days of ordering. This is a school fundraiser and family participation is optional, but welcome! We support the vibrant learning environment at Sunrise with extra academic and family events. The FFO budgets over $30,000 each year to support grants that enrich our students’ lives and classroom experience. The FFO funds all field trips, Science Day, Artists in Residence, Community Garden, 5th Grade Legacy Project, playground equipment, shade structures, Lego Robotics kits, and so much more!
How can you help? The suggested donation to the FFO is $50 per student.
