Science Night!🌟

In December, we host a fantastic Science Night where families and students enjoy an evening filled with air experiments, discovery, and exploration of the wonders of science. Last year’s event featured a captivating STEM-based Ice Show that left everyone in awe. Here’s to more nights of learning, discovery, and community fun. Thank You for an Incredible Science Night!

Science Day!🌟

In 2024-2025 our students had the incredible opportunity to interact with local scientists and explore the wonders of STEM! A huge thank you to our amazing FFO volunteers for organizing this unforgettable day of learning and for supporting our students’ curiosity and growth. Students attended engaging presentations and activities.

  • πŸ”¬Hands-on Learning Experiments: Students dove into interactive science activities that bring classroom concepts to life!
  •  πŸ”Exciting Demonstrations: Amazed by spectacular science shows that will inspire wonder and curiosity.
  • πŸ”¬Student Science Projects: Saw the incredible creativity and innovation of our young researchers.
  • πŸ”Fun Scientific Challenges: Tested problem-solving skills and scientific knowledge.

We are so proud of our students for their enthusiasm and gratitude for this exciting day of discovery. Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make future events just as successful. If you are interested in contributing your time and talents, please reach out to us. Your support is greatly appreciated and vital to our community’s continued growth and success.

SARSEF🌟

Every year, PreK-12th grade students from across Southern Arizona participate in a SARSEF (Southern Arizona Research, Science and Engineering Foundation) affiliated fair. The students conduct research projects to be considered as a representative of their school at the SARSEF Regional Fair, a week-long competition and celebration of their achievements.

Around 1,600 projects compete at the SARSEF Regional Fair, and over $100,000 in prizes, trips, and scholarships are awarded, thanks to community support.

How to participate:

  • Eligibility: While 5th-grade students have completed projects as part of their curriculum, K-4th participation is an optional at-home enrichment activity.
